❓ FREQUENTLY ASKED: Can this tell me if someone is using my WiFi? The Who's On My WiFi scanner lists devices it can see on your network by IP and name. Some phones hide their name; this is not a guarantee of every device. Will switching DNS make my internet faster? It can reduce lookup delays and improve reliability, especially with Cloudflare or Google DNS. Does this app need internet to work? WiFi analysis, channel scanning, and device discovery work locally. Speed test, public IP / ISP, and the security scan’s internet check need a connection. Optional device vendor names may use a MAC lookup.

A NOTE ON PERMISSIONS: Android requires the Location permission, and Location to be switched on, so that any app can list nearby Wi-Fi networks. We use it only to scan Wi-Fi. We never store or share your location.

A NOTE ON PRIVACY We don’t create accounts or run ads. Speed tests and a short connectivity check use Cloudflare. Public IP / ISP uses a lookup service (your public IP is required for that feature). DNS queries go to the resolver you select. Device vendor names may query a MAC vendor database. We don’t sell your data.
